A full-time NIH-funded junior specialist position is currently available in the laboratory of Dr. Satya Dandekar, Department of Medical Microbiology and Immunology performing molecular and mucosal immunology in infectious disease research with specific emphasis on HIV and SIV infections. Responsibilities of this position will include performing techniques in molecular biology. Training will be available in DNA microarray technology and gene expression studies.

A bachelor’s degree and a background in basic molecular concepts is required. Knowledge and some experience in molecular biology is required. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
