UC Davis Stem Cell Training Program

CIRM scholars may participate in

  1. structured mentored research experiences;

  2. the core curriculum, including courses in basic research skills; ethical, legal and social implications of stem cell research; stem cell biology and medicine; and leadership training;

  3. elective UC Davis courses; and

  4. special experiences (such as journal clubs, seminars, symposia, annual retreat).

Pre-doctoral scholars may be supported for up to three years, and postdoctoral and clinical fellows up to two years. Twelve CIRM scholars will be selected in the first year.
